An ancient form of bodywork, Thay yoga massage or Thai massage incorporates a broad toolkit of techniques such as acupressure and assisted yoga stretches to specific energy lines throughout the body known as the Ten Sen. Also known as “lazy mans yoga” the purpose of Thai massage is there to create balance, health and harmony to the whole body and internal organs. Thai massage is not only relaxing and healing but a full body energy cleansing moving meditation.
Benefits:
I'm Natascha, a Thai Yoga Massage therapist with over 5 years of experience who studied traditional Thai Yoga Massage with Kira Balaskas, who was the first school in the UK to offer training in traditional Thai Yoga Massage.
My first experience with Thai Yoga Massage was in Thailand in 2010 and I was pulled towards this form of bodywork that treats the body and the mind.
Often called "yoga for lazy people" Thai Yoga massage uses a combination of acupressure, gentle stretching and applied yoga. It is known under many names such as "Thai Massage", "Nuad Thai" or "Nuad Pen Boran". Thai Yoga Massage is based on the belief that a life force called runs through via energy lines, and by working these lines blocked energy is released, improving general well-being.
I’m a fully insured Thai Massage therapist based in St Leonards on Sea, here to treat the mind, body, and spirit.
